Winter is REALLY here, it is cold outside and many of us have gotten some snow, but we are going to be warm and cozy in the Battle Ground Library for our upcoming Quarterly meeting on January 20, 11:00-1:30. We will have a short business meeting, introduce you to the new board members and welcome all members to the meeting prior to our presentation given by two of our new members, Sonny Flink and Janine Littrell. Sonny and Janine are very prestigious potters, sculptors and stained glass artist.
Janine's skill and understanding of the use of textures and colors has led her to create the unique, contemporary one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces that you see today, and Sonny with his skills of the ceramic and pottery side of this unique clay art both don their own individual pottery studios. They will be talking about processes, techniques and their journey to this interesting world of clay.
